What happens during an information call back?
You’ll hear about what it’s like to be a foster carer for Bradford Council, what training and support we offer and discuss what would be the best type of fostering for you and your family. You also have the chance to ask questions to our friendly and knowledgeable team who have worked with 100’s of foster families across the Bradford district. The call usually lasts 30-40 minutes.

Criteria to foster
To become a foster carer in Bradford, you need to be:

Aged over 21

Read, write and speak English well

Have a spare bedroom for a foster child to stay in
To help you attend meetings and get involved in our community, we advise all Bradford carers to live within, or near the Bradford district. Learn more about our fostering requirements here.
