Local councils team up to achieve one goal – recruit the next generation of foster carers.
Benefits At A Glance
What are the benefits of fostering with Bradford Fostering? Apart from working with young people, our current carers love our community spirit, great financial rewards and career development opportunities.
24/7 Professional Support
The best foster carers are those who feel supported. That's why we provide 24/7 support to all our carers to help you with any issues you may have.
Right from the start, you will be assigned your own dedicated social worker, and have access to a dedicated therapeutic social work team and access to the children's social workers too.
We will always be just a phone call away.
Extensive Training Opportunities and Rewards

Unlock your career potential while making a difference to the lives of local children.
Becoming a foster carer is a brilliant opportunity to make a difference to a young person’s life. It also gives you the chance to develop your own professional skills.
Your training and development starts from the moment we accept your application. You'll be supported through your initial training to help you become a foster carer, but the learning doesn't stop there.
After your approval, we'll continue to support you to learn new skills to help you in your role. As you progress as a foster carer, your weekly fees will also rise to recognise your experience and knowledge.
Engaged and Supportive Community
As a foster carer, you're never alone. Our community of foster carers meet up regularly to make new friends and share useful tips and advice.

With Bradford Fostering, you are given free membership of The Fostering Network, the UK's largest fostering charity.
We also have a dedicated support platform just for LGBT+ carers.

Carers and their foster children can also make new friends through the award-winning Mockingbird scheme, which connects foster families in our district together.
